Prof. Duru Shah
MD FRCOG FCPS FICS FICOG FICMCH DGO DFPDr. Duru Shah is the Director, Gynaecworld, the “CENTER for Women’s Health & Fertility”. She is the Founder President of The PCOS Society (India) and chairs international advisory roles with ESHRE and ASPIRE.
She has held the highest leadership positions in India including President of FOGSI, IMS, ICOG, and ISAR, and has served on multiple international boards including FIGO and IMS.
She is the first and only Indian recipient of the FIGO Distinguished Merit Award and holds the Honorary Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Dr. Shah is deeply committed to adolescent reproductive health, gender violence prevention, and women’s rights through her NGO, The Women’s Empowerment Foundation. She also created the “Tooshytoask” app for adolescent health education.
