Dr. Nitin Chaubal
MD, DMRD, FICR., FAIUM, FICMU.FSRUDr. Nitin Chaubal is a renowned healthcare professional with more than three decades of rich and varied experience in the field of Ultrasound imaging in the country. Presently, he is the Director at Thane Ultrasound Centre and a consultant in Ultrasound at Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre in Mumbai since 1986. He is a visiting faculty at Seth GS Medical College, Mumbai and is also a teacher for postgraduate radiology students (Diploma National Board) at Jaslok Hospital.
Having several national and international awards to his credit, he has been training radiologists from all over India and abroad. His Ultrasound Clinic in Mumbai is recognized as a centre of educational excellence, where innumerable workshops in Ultrasound and Color Doppler are conducted routinely.
On the academic front, he has pursued MBBS, MD in Radiology and a diploma in Medical and Radio-Diagnosis (D.M.R.D) from University of Mumbai. Besides, he has also pursued fellowships from American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (USA), Indian College of Radiology and Imaging, Indian College of Medicine in Ultrasound, Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound (USA).
He is a well-known member of the Indian Medical Association, International Advisory Committee for Ultrasound and Indian Federation of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology. He has had held senior positions in the organizing panel of several industry conferences. He has authored several articles and have numerous research papers published in reputed medical journals.
