Dr. Monisha started her career in 1986 at Masina Hospital, Byculla, involved in Routine Pathological Investigations in Hematology, Biochemistry, Clinical Pathology and Blood Banking. She had a major breakthrough in 1994 to be trained at University College, London in Antenatal Diagnosis of Hemoglobinopathies and a short training of 6 months at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, for various molecular techniques. Dr Monisha gained technical expertise in reproductive genetics during the tenure at various diagnostic labs, viz., Reliance Life Sciences and Lilac Insights, with administrative skills and accreditation processes. She has been an invited speaker and faculty in various workshops and conferences. Dr. Monisha’s journey at Metropolis Healthcare includes molecular pathology and oncology with the high-end molecular NGS technology.
